Courtroom Location and Technology
Judge Miller's courtroom is located on the third floor of the Federal Building at 204 South Main Street in South Bend, Indiana. Judge Miller's courtroom is fully equipped with state of the art technology. The court strongly encourages use of the courtroom technology to allow the trial to run more efficiently and to enhance the presentation of the case to the jury. For example, it is unnecessary to approach a witness to show him a document; the courtroom's exhibit camera system may be used instead. Training for use of the technology is available by contacting Tony Lee, Case Management Deputy, at (574) 246-8082. The following technology is available in the courtroom: Document Camera (ELMO) 15" flat panel video display monitors at counsel tables and in jury box Three 42" Large Screens for the jury and spectator section Technology ready counsel tables for laptops Document Annotator Video Cassette Recorder Assisted Listening headsets for the hearing impaired |
