Final Pretrial Conferences

The final pretrial conference will be set approximately two to four weeks before trial.

Prior to the final pretrial conference in civil cases, the parties are required to file a written pretrial order. The parties should consult the Local Rules to determine the contents of the pretrial order. In addition, counsel should be aware of the deadlines to be followed in the "Conduct of Trial Order" that was sent to counsel when the trial date was set. A sample of such an order is listed below.

One trial counsel from each side is to be present at the final pretrial conference in open court. Judge Sharp will thoroughly go over everything with counsel to ensure all counsel are prepared for trial.
