At the time the Preliminary Pretrial Conference is set, the Clerk issues to the parties notice of availability of consent. Magistrate Judge Consent Forms are to be returned to the Clerk within 20 days of receipt. In cases in which parties and counsel choose not to consent to a magistrate, they should be aware that Judge Springmann will conduct all trials and live hearings in the home/originating Division in which the civil case was filed.
