Paper copies of motions and briefs for chambers ordinarily are unnecessary in the wake of electronic filing. However, if a document is not filed electronically because it is voluminous, an extra copy should be submitted, unless the document is filed under seal. Parties should send proposed orders on routine motions to the chambers of the judge who will be ruling on the motion. Proposed orders for Judge Springmann should be sent to Springmann_Chambers@innd.uscourts.gov. Proposed orders for Magistrate Judge Cosbey should be sent to Cosbey_Chambers@innd.uscourts.gov. All proposed orders should be in WordPerfect (or a compatible word processing) format. Judge Springmann does not hold motions days or motion calls. Hearings will be set if deemed helpful.
