If you would rather search the opinions, please click the Search Opinion Descriptions Link or the Search Opinion Text Link. To download an opinion, right click on the document name and select "Save Target As" from the pull down menu. For some time, the court has been providing links to judges’ opinions on this website and some judges continue to add opinions to this page periodically. However, beginning April 11, 2005, the court’s CM/ECF system was upgraded to allow attorneys with a CM/ECF login and password to view opinions through that system free of charge. For this reason, you may not find all judges’ opinions on this page and may want to search in the CM/ECF system instead. To access opinions in CM/ECF, log into the CM/ECF system, click on Reports and then Written Opinions in the Civil and Criminal Reports Menu. The Written Opinions Report is a free report. You will not be charged a PACER fee to view this report or any document designated as an opinion in the CM/ECF system. A CM/ECF login and password may be issued to any attorney admitted to practice and in good standing in the Northern District of Indiana by completing a CM/ECF Registration Form and submitting it to the court as instructed on the form.
