On April 23, 2007, the judges of this court signed General Order 2007-4, which authorized the following modifications to the CM/ECF Civil and Criminal User Manual:

1. Section I B 1 was modified to remove the Attorney Registration Form from the manual and add a reference to attorney admission and CM/ECF registration forms on the website.

2. Section I B 5 was added to add a requirement that Assistant US Attorneys and Federal Community Defenders must register for a new user account when they leave and go into private practice.

3. Section I C was modified to include information about the availability of attorney admission and CM/ECF registration forms on the court's website.

4. Section II F was modified to remove a requirement that text only docket entries must say "no further written order will issue". The Notice of Electronic Filing in Version 3.0 says "No document attached" if no pdf exists.

5. Section II J was added to provide instructions for consents to proceed before a magistrate judge in a civil case.Add instructions for magistrate consent forms (also available on the court's website).
