Judge Miller: Proposed Findings of Fact and Conclusions of Law; Final Argument in Bench Trials

Proposed findings of fact and conclusions of law must be filed at least seven days before the final pretrial conference. Judge Miller will use the proposed findings as a guide to the ultimate ruling.
Judge Miller expects final argument to be given at the close of the evidence in a bench trial rather than in memoranda submitted weeks after trial. Judge Miller prefers to rule earlier rather than later in all instances, and a briefing delay allows other matters to take priority over the trial decision.
