Lafayette Directions and Parking Information

The United States District Court is in the Federal Building / Courthouse located at 230 NORTH 4th St, Lafayette, Indiana.

JURY / VISITOR PARKING:  DO NOT park in the Post Office lot! Pay Parking is available within a three block radius of the Federal Building. A parking garage is located on Ferry and 2nd St, across from bus depot. Additional parking can be found on the corner of Fifth and Columbia Streets.
 
The United States District Court is located on the 2nd floor in the Charles A. Halleck Federal Building, located at 230 NORTH 4th Street, Lafayette, Indiana (The old post office). It is one block NORTH of the Tippecanoe County Courthouse.
 
FROM INDIANAPOLIS ON I - 65:
Exit I - 65 onto STATE ROUTE 26 at Exit #172. Turn WEST (LEFT) onto SR 26 and travel WEST approximately 3 miles, passing through U.S. HWY 52 (SAGAMORE PARKWAY), to the next traffic light which will be EARL Avenue. Turn NORTH (RIGHT) onto EARL Avenue and continue to the next traffic light (one block) which will be FERRY Street. Turn WEST (LEFT) onto FERRY Street and continue to 4th Street where the courthouse is located.
 
FROM CHICAGO ON I - 65
Exit I - 65 onto STATE ROUTE 43 at Exit #178. Turn SOUTH (RIGHT) and travel approximately 5.3 miles to the intersection of SR 43 and STATE Street in West Lafayette. Turn EAST (LEFT) onto STATE Street and cross the Wabash River Bridge. At the base of the bridge (traffic light), turn NORTH (LEFT) onto 2nd Street. Travel NORTH on 2nd Street, three blocks, to FERRY Street (2nd Street ends at this location). Turn EAST (RIGHT) onto FERRY Street and travel two blocks to 4th Street where the courthouse is located.
 
FROM DELPHI ON STATE ROUTE 25
Travel SOUTHWEST along STATE ROUTE 25 to the intersection of U.S. HWY 52. Turn SOUTH (LEFT) onto U.S. HWY 52 and travel to the intersection of U.S. HWY 52 and STATE ROUTE 26. Turn WEST (RIGHT) onto STATE ROUTE 26 (SOUTH Street) and travel one block to EARL Avenue (Traffic light). Turn NORTH RIGHT) onto EARL Avenue and travel one block to FERRY Street (Traffic light). Turn WEST (LEFT) onto FERRY Street and travel to 4th Street where the courthouse is located.
