The briefing schedule and page limits for motions are set forth in Local Rule 7-1.

Paper copies of motions and briefs for chambers ordinarily are unnecessary in the wake of electronic filing. However, if a document is not filed electronically because it is voluminous, an extra copy should be submitted, unless the document is filed under seal.

Parties should send proposed orders on routine motions to the chambers of the judge who will be ruling on the motion. Proposed orders for Magistrate Judge Collins should be sent to Judge Collin's Chambers email address. All proposed orders should be in Word Perfect or Microsoft Word format.

Judge Theresa Lazar Springmann does not hold motions days or motion calls. Hearings will be set if deemed helpful.
