Federal Courts, including the District Court, will never use a phone call or email to request personal or financial information, or to threaten recipients who don't comply. Be skeptical of any emails or calls that: Ask for personal information, credit/debit card/gift card numbers, wire transfers, or bank routing numbers for any purpose.

Recently scam emails have been sent out asking the recipient to "Bring demanded details to the Court" for a subpoena and a link is provided. DO NOT click the link - this is a scam email and not a valid email from the District Court.
